Marshall is the man that made money so easy that
he had to marry and come to College to spend it.
but even here he has cleared the salary of a pro¬
fessor on the side, built himself a home, sold Oxford
(?) real estate and acquired an Oldsmobile. He
was the first man to say let there be electric light,
and there was electric light in Oxford. Missing
some of the earlier advantages in education Marshall
has come from Subdom to Senior with credit and
honor and respect and best wishes of faculty and
